Errollyn Wallen is one of the UK’s most performed composers and here talks to fellow composer Alasdair Nicolson about her life and work and her move to Orkney.

In 2024 Errollyn was made the first Master of the King’s Music and this year sees many premieres, performances and record releases notably a collection of her orchestral works.  At home both in chamber music, orchestral music and opera, she has a fast growing catalogue of works.
