The Festival Chorus and Ensemble will perform Faure’s evergreen Requiem in its 1893 version alongside some unaccompanied choral music in a sequence mixing instrumental with choral with readings. The rich variety of repertoire will ring round the magical, medieval Cathedral of St Magnus in what is always a highpoint of the Festival Chorus year.
