An opportunity to see some of the Hoy landscape and to visit the refurbished museum at Lyness in the company of one of Scotland’s most talented young cellists. His performance crosses the centuries ranging from Bach’s ever popular solo suites to music by living composers and the Ukrainian Silvestrov’s homage to the great master, Bach.
Transport by ferry to, and bus on Hoy will be provided for a limited fixed number of concertgoers, and this will include a light lunch. It is also possible to go to the longer performance in Hoy Kirk as a single concert.
Depart Houton Ferry Terminal 09.50am returning 15.30pm (Boarding 15 mins before).
