solo performer of the year COMPETITION

In partnership with Scottish Young Musicians, St Magnus International Festival is hosting a competition to find Orkney's Solo Performer of the Year.  The competition will take place on Saturday 29 March 2025 at 2.30pm in Stromness Town Hall.

Participants are invited to perform one piece of their choice, with a programme not exceeding 5 minutes.  An official accompanist will be provided if required.

Entries close on Saturday 22 March 2025.

The winner will go through to the National Solo Performer of the Year National Final in the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Glasgow on Sunday 25 May 2025.
