Participants in the First Orkney Accordion Course and local musicians
During the weekdays of the 2025 Festival there will be an Accordion Course taking place with participants drawn to Orkney to learn, play together and work on new music. This concert presents the work done on this course and presents new arrangements of music specially made for accordion ensemble. The sound of a multitude of accordions, with some other special guests, promises to be a riot of sound and a joyful celebration of the accordion to round off this first partnership between the Festival and the Karens.
