David Chadwick and Marit Fält

A mix of traditional music from Scandinavia, especially featuring the Polska, and a little Telemann as well.

David is a violinist with the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, having previously held positions with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. He has performed in festivals and concert halls around the world with many ensembles, including the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Royal Northern Sinfonia. David studied at the Birmingham Conservatoire, the Hochschule für Musik, Weimar and The Liszt Academy of Music, Budapest.  David is joined by Marit Fält, the well-known Swedish lätmandola player who now lives in Edinburgh.   A multi-instrumentalist, composer and collaborator, Fält is a rising star of the traditional music scence in Scotland and further afield.

This collaboration was postponed from last year and is a thrilling mix of instrumentalists and instruments.
