This award-winning Belgian trio brings a late-night, relaxing selection of music for the unusual combination of violin, saxophone and piano. Muisc ranges from the familiar, sultry tango world of Piazzolla to the hauntingly reflective Prayer of contemporary composer Jeroen d'Hoe. The Kugoni Trio has performed all over the world and its members have rapidly become ambassadors for Belgian new music. They have made many recordings, winning the Supernova Prize 2014 and Forte Limburg Award in 2015. They are especially keen to bring new music to the concert platform and have commissioned number composers.
